Sea-Tex

The Greenscreen Sea-Tex Project aims to recover shoreline plastic trash and turn it into fabrics!

Recycled programs are occurring throughout the world as we speak, sorting and processing recovered plastics from beaches, remote coastlines, inland waterways and the surrounding local communities where plastics are commonly incinerated or landfilled. Turning ocean plastic into fabric is both inspiring and environmentally friendly.
The created Greenscreen Sea-Tex screen fabric is semi-transparent, available in 5 colours and is also Fire Retardant.

In our everyday lives we are surrounded by plastic. Just think about every piece we touch in a single day: shopping bags, food containers, coffee cup lids, water bottles, straws – the list goes on and on. We depend on plastic, but it comes at a steep price.

MARINE DEBRIS Timeline of Biodegration

MOST OF US KNOW LITTLE OR NOTHING ABOUT THE DEVASTATION THAT OCCURS OUT THERE UNDER THE SURFACE.

CAN WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Yes! With the average window size at 1.86m, averaging 5 blinds per home x 500 homes would use 580kg of recovered ocean plastic.
